Welcome to Carnivora, a forum for those interested in carnivores and animals in general. The forum allows you to discuss any issue related to the animal kingdom, read and contibute to the extensive species profiles of your favorite animal. Interspecific conflict (Animal Face-off) to is discussed and you can debate the outcomes of species v species, such as lion versus tiger, leopard versus hyena, cougar versus wolf. Two centuries ago, grizzly bears thrived across the lower 48 states, with an estimated population between 50,000 to 100,000. Today, due to persecution, trophy-hunting, and habitat-destruction, the grizzly occupies less than 2% of its historical range.
