I think it would be easier if they just made a strict standard measurement to the withers rule. The heights won't look as impressive, as they all start just making the 100cm mark, but at least it will be consistent. George certainly was measured quite high up, but so was Titan and it is difficult to tell who was measured higher since there is no specific mark to be measured up to.

well, i can guarantee you that george was measured way higher up than what titan was, i have been involded in this too long to not to know
Jesus, get over it. Gibson was measured in the same way as George and Titan. To the very highest point of the shoulder and got 107cm. It wasn't strictly at the consistent withers but he was still the tallest dog who was measured.
George may be the tallest dog now, but while Gibson was alive, he was taller than Atar, and thats what the whole argument comes down to.

I agree with Xismxist on Atar and Titan's height, Gibson isn't all that big, heck he looks like an ordinary big dane.
